RanMatch Terms of Service

1. Parties and acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RanMatch mobile application and related services (the “Service”). The Service is provided by Halil İbrahim Tayfur (“RanMatch,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms, the RanMatch Privacy Policy, and the Community and Safety Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.

Unless a custom end-user license agreement is expressly provided, the license for the RanMatch application on Apple platforms is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. These Terms govern the RanMatch account, social features, user content, activities, and subscription services.

2. Eligibility and 18+ requirement

RanMatch is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. The date of birth and age information you provide must be accurate.

We may suspend or delete an account if we determine that its user is under 18 or has provided misleading age information. If you believe a person under 18 is using RanMatch, contact support@ranmatch.com.

You may not use RanMatch if use of the Service is prohibited in your country or would violate applicable sanctions or export restrictions.

3. Nature of the Service

RanMatch is a social platform that helps adult users discover one another based on sport and physical-activity interests, match by mutual choice, exchange messages, create activities, and join activities.

RanMatch:

• is not designed as a romantic dating service;
• is not a gym, event organizer, tour operator, healthcare provider, or emergency service;
• does not guarantee a user’s identity, background, health, skill, intent, or conduct;
• does not guarantee a match, a particular result, uninterrupted availability, or that a user-created activity will take place.

A profile-verification badge means only that the relevant RanMatch verification step was completed. It is not a guarantee of identity, trustworthiness, safety, competence, or future behavior.

4. Account registration and security

You must provide current, accurate information that belongs to you. You may not impersonate another person, create a deceptive profile, sell or rent your account, or share it without authorization.

You are responsible for protecting your password and device access. If you suspect unauthorized use, change your password promptly and contact support@ranmatch.com.

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, you are responsible for activity performed through your account. You must update your account information when it changes.

5. Profiles, discovery, and location

Your profile name, age, photos, biography, sport/activity preferences, experience level, interests, languages, education/work information, and other profile fields you choose may be shown to other RanMatch users. Remember that other people may save or take screenshots of information you share online.

Device location may be used to show nearby users and distance. Location shown in discovery is reduced to an approximate area. If you share an exact meeting point for an activity, that information should be disclosed only to people authorized to access that activity. Think carefully before sharing a home, work, or otherwise sensitive location.

You can change location permissions in device settings, although proximity, distance, or meeting features may then be unavailable.

6. User Content and the license you grant

Profile photos, biographies, messages, images, GIFs, audio recordings, activity descriptions, cover images, comments, ratings, reports, and other materials you upload are “User Content.”

You retain ownership of your User Content. By uploading it, you grant RanMatch a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license, including necessary sublicenses to service providers, only to the extent needed to host, store, transmit, display, technically adapt, back up, secure, and support that content as part of the Service. This license ends when the content is removed from the Service and active systems, except for records that must lawfully be retained, safety records, and ordinary backup cycles.

You may upload only content you have the right to share. You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content complies with law, these Terms, and the Community Guidelines.

7. Acceptable use

When using RanMatch, you may not engage in:

• harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination, bullying, stalking, or unwanted sexual conduct;
• fake accounts, impersonation, fraud, spam, chain messages, or unauthorized commercial promotion;
• illegal, harmful, violent, exploitative content or conduct that puts anyone’s safety at risk;
• inviting minors to the Service, sexual content involving minors, or conduct that endangers children;
• disclosing another person’s private information, exact location, or contact information without permission;
• infringement of intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• circumvention of security, unauthorized reverse engineering, bots, scraping, or conduct that disrupts the Service;
• manipulation of ratings, verification status, attendance records, subscription entitlements, or usage quotas;
• use of RanMatch for crime, illegal gambling, dangerous-product sales, or any other unlawful purpose.

The Community and Safety Guidelines form part of this section.

8. Sport, activity, and in-person safety

Sport and physical activities can involve injury, illness, property loss, and other risks. Before participating, assess whether an activity is appropriate for you, including its equipment, weather, route, organizer, participants, and your own health. Consult a qualified health professional where appropriate.

You decide whether to communicate with or meet people found through RanMatch. Take reasonable precautions, such as meeting in public first, telling a trusted person about your plans, arranging your own transportation, and contacting the local emergency number when necessary.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, user-created activities are organized by users, who are responsible for safety, permits, equipment, transportation, and costs. RanMatch is not a party to an agreement between users.

9. Messaging, media, and calls

Matching and activity features may allow users to exchange text, photos, GIFs, and audio messages. A recipient may save or share what you send. Do not send unnecessary sensitive, financial, or private information.

Audio/video meeting links may open through third-party services such as meet.jit.si. The third party’s terms and privacy practices also apply. RanMatch does not control the continuous availability or security of an independent third-party service.

10. Reporting, blocking, and moderation

You can report inappropriate users or content using in-app reporting tools and can block users. If there is immediate danger or suspected crime, do not rely only on a RanMatch report; contact local emergency services or law enforcement.

We may investigate reports and take proportionate measures, including removing content, restricting features, issuing a warning, reducing visibility, correcting verification or rating status, suspending an account, or deleting an account. Unless prohibited by law or safety considerations, we may notify a user of a decision and offer an appeal through support@ranmatch.com.

Submitting a report does not automatically establish a violation. We assess reports while balancing safety, privacy, abuse prevention, and legal obligations.

11. Paid features and auto-renewable subscriptions

RanMatch may offer free features and paid auto-renewable subscriptions such as Plus or Pro. Before purchase, the App Store purchase interface displays the current price, currency, billing period, any trial terms, and included features.

• Apple charges your payment method associated with your Apple Account.
• A subscription may renew for the same period unless canceled before the current period ends.
• You can manage or cancel it through the Subscriptions section of your Apple account settings.
• Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the paid period, and paid features remain available until then.
• Refund requests are governed by Apple’s process and applicable consumer law.
• Deleting your RanMatch account may not cancel an Apple subscription. You should cancel the subscription separately through Apple before deleting the account.

Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, we may change features or prices in the future. Price changes are subject to the notices and consent process required by Apple.

12. Third-party services

The Service may use third-party infrastructure or services, including Apple, Google Firebase, Apple Maps/MapKit, and meet.jit.si/8x8. Third-party terms may apply. RanMatch exercises appropriate care in selecting and managing its service providers but does not fully control an independent third-party platform, its content, or service interruptions.

13. Intellectual property

The RanMatch name, application design, software, logos, original graphics, text, and other RanMatch-created materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. These Terms give you only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, sell, license, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without prior written permission, except where mandatory law permits otherwise.

14. Service changes and availability

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue the Service for security, legal, technical, or product-development reasons. Where reasonable and practicable, we will provide advance notice of material changes.

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. Your mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.

15. Suspension and termination

We may temporarily or permanently restrict your account or particular features if you breach these Terms or the Community Guidelines, create a safety risk, harm others’ rights, misuse the Service, or if restriction is legally required.

You may delete your account through the application settings. Account deletion is designed to remove the RanMatch account and associated data from active systems; limited records may need to remain for legal obligations, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or ordinary backup cycles. Deleting the account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, liability, disputes, and necessary safety records—remain in effect.

16. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” RanMatch does not warrant user conduct, activity safety, sporting performance, matching outcomes, or third-party services.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RanMatch is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss; loss of data or profits; or loss arising from transactions or meetings between users. These limitations do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, mandatory consumer rights, or other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Nothing in these Terms removes non-waivable rights available in your country.

17. Indemnity and third-party claims

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to cover RanMatch’s reasonable losses and costs arising from third-party claims caused by unlawful User Content, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights. This clause does not apply where prohibited by mandatory law or inapplicable to consumers.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer and data-protection laws in your country of residence. Jurisdiction and available dispute-resolution mechanisms are determined under applicable mandatory law. This section does not limit a consumer’s non-waivable rights or right to complain to a competent authority in their own country.

Before starting a dispute, we encourage you to contact us through support@ranmatch.com and seek an informal resolution.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, security, or the Service. For material changes, we will update the effective date and provide an appropriate in-app notice, email, or other reasonable notification. We will request renewed acceptance where required.

Continuing to use the Service after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

20. General provisions

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A delay in exercising a right is not a waiver. We may transfer these Terms as part of a merger, reorganization, or transfer of the Service without reducing users’ mandatory rights.

If the Turkish and English versions differ, they should be interpreted together, taking mandatory law and consumer protections into account.
